Adopt a Weimaraner (short coat)

Meet Athena, the sweetest little gal in the West.  Athena is an approximately 7-month-old, female. She loves to play catch, run, and play with other dogs.  She would love to be in a home with a young playmate who can keep up with her!  Her elderly pug foster brothers are just not interested in playing with her- can you imagine? 

Athena is house trained and crate trained.  She is content in her crate overnight and when her foster family is away.  Speaking of her foster family, Athena is WONDERFUL with small children.  She loves to play with them, sits calmly through temper tantrums, and doesn’t attempt to grab their snacks.  Athena is wonderful on her leash- you barely know she is there!  She is a fairly quiet girl- she doesn’t even bark back when the neighbor’s dog howls at her through the fence.

Athena is a smart little cookie and is learning her commands, but will need someone to continue her obedience training.  While in the house, she sticks like glue to her foster mom and dad.  She is gentle and loving and will make a beautiful addition to the lucky family who takes her in!

Our rescue Weimaraners are current on all vaccinations and heartworm preventative. They are spayed or neutered, and microchipped. The adoption donation is $300.00 for adult Weimaraners, $350.00 for puppies, who are old enough to have been spayed/neutered, $450 for puppies who are not old enough to be spayed/neutered, $100 refundable deposit included and $250.00 for seniors.
